These tours are the ultimate in motorcycling holiday experiences for the non-rider! Enjoy the unique thrill and challenge of touring on the back of our BMW motorcycles riding through some of the most breathtaking countryside Australia has to offer.

Tour durations range from 6 days to 21 days of pure motorcycling adventure during the day with four and five star luxury by night in some of Australia most beautiful country and city locations.

General Tour Information

Operating Periods

These tours can be operated at any time subject to availability and seasonal weather conditions.

The mainland tours are not conducted during the summer months due to the extremely high temperatures encountered on the route which can peak at over 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit).

The Tasmania tour is not conducted during the winter months due to the cold, wet and icy conditions encountered on the route - however it is conducted during the mainland summer due to the cooler conditions encountered during the Tasmanian summer.

Note: All motorcycle passengers are required to be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Luggage

These really are tours with a difference, which also applies to your luggage!

The BMW motorcycles are equipped with external secure and waterproof side panniers and a large top mounted box that doubles as a pillion backrest, all of which allow the carriage of personal items.

Each passenger will be allocated a top box bag for storage of their overnight personal effects during the tour, shown in the photograph below, providing 50 litres of storage per passenger. It is important to note that the top box bags cannot be overfilled as they conform to the dimensions of the hard top box.

Luggage space is limited and therefore the carriage of personal effects must be limited to the absolute essentials. All you will need to bring on tour is one change of clothing to wear each evening whilst not on the motorcycle, underwear for the duration of the tour, minimal toiletries, cameras and a sense of adventure! Additional toiletries, towels and hairdryers are all available at the four and five star accommodation every evening.

Pre-Tour Activities

Once you have arrived in Melbourne, you will be met by the riders the day prior to departure at your overnight accommodation allowing you to take a look at the motorcycles and to be provided with the top box inner bag for your luggage.

It is important to note that there is a strict limit on passenger luggage: if it does not fit in the top box bag it cannot be taken on tour. All excess luggage is securely stored for the duration of the tour.

The tour officially commences at 8am at your overnight accommodation with an informal pre-tour briefing, suiting up in your motorcycle riding equipment and the stowing of your luggage prior to departure on the tour of a lifetime!
