Powered by BMW, fuelled by enthusiasm and driven by high standards, Vicmoto Motorcycle Tours offers guided motorcycle tours and luxury motorcycle passenger tours operating out of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia.
On-Board Communications System
The motorcycles are each fitted with a communications system that integrates rider to passenger communication, motorcycle to motorcycle communication, mobile telephone link, digital music and on board satellite navigation system audio commands.
Each helmet is fitted with earphones and a boom-mounted microphone to facilitate communication. The systems are voice activated with no interference and conversations are easily conducted at normal voice levels.
Passengers can converse with their rider at all times and also with their travelling partner on the other motorcycle via the UHF radio link fitted to both motorcycles.
If they wish passengers may have their own iPod (or similar) plugged into the communications system to listen to as they travel or they can elect to listen to music installed on the motorcycle rider’s iPod.
We are able to organise all manner of custom tours from a minimum of a half day’s duration. This includes:
- Victorian State tours to destinations not included in any of our scheduled tours
- One-way tours to Victorian or interstate destinations departing from any location within Australia – such as travel to conferences, holiday destinations or activities
- Return tours to Victorian or interstate destinations departing from any location within Australia – including drop-off at your travel destination and pick-up and return to your departure location at a later date
- Tours including other activities such as hot air ballooning, visits to tourism attractions or other tourist activities
We offer tailored conference services and tours specific to corporate client requirements. Tours operating from a conference venue can be tailored to suit the schedules of the conference delegates depending on individual availability. We are extremely flexible regarding conference organisers’ requirements and the schedules of the delegates in terms of the provision of our services.
Our standard tours offer a very unique way of introducing international or interstate visitors to Melbourne and the state of Victoria.
We regularly promote our service around the Melbourne region and country Victoria allowing people to see our motorcycles and take a firsthand look at the services we offer. Where possible, this information will be posted on our home page regularly so should you be in Melbourne CBD shopping for instance you may be able to drop by and see us for five minutes without disrupting your day.

We operate two all new BMW K1200GT SE motorcycles, which set the benchmark in safety, comfort, engineering standards and aesthetic appeal that only other BMW motorcycles can match.
This motorcycle provides comfortable seating along with a high stable backrest for added passenger comfort and security. Three luggage areas on each motorcycle allow the passengers ample room to stow clothing and personal effects during half-day, one-day and multiple-day tours. A two-position switch, located just behind the pillion seat, provides the passenger with heated seating as and when required.
These particular motorcycles provide practical comfort and luxury for passengers – particularly appealing to those who have never previously travelled on a motorcycle.

Vicmoto Motorcycle Tours Availability
We are generally available for bookings seven days per week all year round subject to prior bookings. Every effort is made to accommodate all booking requests and we are extremely flexible regarding conference organisers’ requirements in terms of the provision of our services.
During the summer months, primarily December to February, the temperatures can reach in excess of 30°C - these conditions are generally too uncomfortable for motorcycling as riders and passengers overheat whilst wearing the mandatory safety equipment. During this warm period, the weather forecast will be taken into account prior to a conference or tour booking being confirmed.
It is important to note that the seasons of autumn, winter and spring are excellent times of year for motorcycling. The incredibly warm motorcycle equipment provided (with removable quilted thermal liners) and the expansive bodywork of the motorcycles in addition to the heated seats keeps our passengers very warm and comfortable.
Tours will operate as booked by customers unless extreme inclement weather is forecast over a wide area. Isolated patches of inclement weather will not prevent a tour from taking place as weather patterns move very quickly over Victoria and can change markedly according to geographical location.
If required the motorcycle riders will take digital photographs and digital video of the passengers at every available opportunity throughout their tour. For a small additional cost of $20 plus postage, the photographs and video will then be packaged on a personalised DVD and forwarded to the passengers after the tour by mail the day after the tour. If required and if possible, this DVD will be delivered in person to the passengers after the tour.
Venues, Events and Activities Promotional Photography and Videography We are also able to provide promotional photography for venues, events and activities at no charge to the event organiser or venue owner. Simply invite Vicmoto Motorcycle Tours along to your activity as an exhibitor to showcase our service and in return we will provide promotional photography and video to showcase your venue, event or activity, which will be provided to you free of charge, uploaded to our website and our profile on You Tube.
Passenger Equipment & Clothing
We provide a complete set of fully fitted motorcycle riders equipment and clothing for every passenger and the wearing of this equipment is a mandatory requirement in all conditions.
The clothing has removable quilted liners so that passengers are comfortable and warm in cooler months, whereas the liners can be removed in warmer periods to prevent passengers overheating whilst remaining fully protected. The jacket and trousers are windproof, waterproof, stylish, comfortable to wear, and have pockets for small personal effects. The jacket and trousers are easily worn over the top of light casual street clothing. This allows passengers to remove the motorcycle clothing during longer breaks such as lunch, put on their own footwear and jacket and wander freely to dine and relax whilst we look after all the equipment until passengers return to the motorcycles.
The new model Nolan N102 ‘flip-face’ helmets are light, comfortable, easy to wear all day and allow passengers to lift the chinguard and visor up and away from the face during brief stops. This feature allows drinking and conversation without having to remove the helmet completely. The helmets also feature a unique additional half-visor which is tinted and acts like a pair of sunglasses - this can be raised and lowered as required whilst still having the protection of the complete clear standard visor beneath. The helmets also allow passengers to wear prescription glasses or their own sunglasses if they prefer.
Passengers are provided with motorcycle boots that are adjustable for varying calf muscle sizes, comfortable, lined and warm. Passengers are also fitted with motorcycle gloves that are warm and allow easy movement whilst providing protection against the elements.
